Every day across our world people are going to bed without food. Some go without food or water for days at a time. Many of these people are children and the elderly. We here at the Inland Empire Community Outreach Center have made it our goal to work every day to provide aid and assistance to those who cannot support themselves due to unfortunate circumstances, but we cannot do this alone. Your help is needed. Please help us give back to our communities and to those who need help the most. Together we can make a difference. Donate today.

Community Unity and Impact – March 27, 2025

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, something truly powerful took place in the heart of San Bernardino. In honor of Cesar Chavez Day, a day that commemorates the life and legacy of a man who dedicated himself to justice, dignity, and community service, our city witnessed a remarkable act of unity and compassion. The Inland Empire Community Outreach Center, in collaboration with Amazon ONT2, Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County, Clean California, and VIP, came together with one shared purpose — to uplift our city by beautifying one of its most impacted areas: Seccombe Lake Park, located between North Sierra Way and North Waterman.

What began as a community clean-up quickly became something much more meaningful. Volunteers not only rolled up their sleeves to restore the park and surrounding area, but they also reached into their hearts to serve those most in need. Hot meals were lovingly provided by Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino. Alongside them, food, clothing, blankets, hygiene items, and encouragement were distributed to our unsheltered neighbors and community members. It was a moment of true solidarity — where people from all walks of life came together to say, "We care."

This day was more than a cleanup. It was a movement, a reminder of the power of community, and a tribute to Cesar Chavez’s enduring belief that "We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community." To everyone who participated — your time, effort, and love made a lasting impact. Because of you, San Bernardino is stronger, cleaner, and filled with renewed hope.

Thank you for being the light our city needed.
